CrossConnections
CROSSCONNECTIONS engages the Iranian and Iranian-American diaspora community in an intergenerational, creative dialogue about issues of cultural identity, preservation, and representation. Directed by Taraneh Hemami, the project began as the 2005-2007 artist in residency project with Persis Karim at the Center for Art and Public Life at the California College of the Arts focusing on Iranians living in the Bay Area and has expanded to create opportunities for creative exchange across the globe.
